EDO 2016: Obaseki Promises Good Governance

Godwin Obaseki, chairman of the Edo State Economic Team and one of the leading contenders for the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming September 10 polls, has vowed to give the state quality governance if he eventually emerges the governor.

He was speaking when he played host to members of a group, Organised Greater Edo Project, in his office yesterday morning.

Obaseki averred that as regards to taking the state to a higher level beyond what the incumbent governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has been able to achieve in lead than ten years, he intends giving the state a qualitative leadership that every indigene of the state would be very proud of.

The governorship hopeful promised that he would not resort to using the media to castigate any of his co-contenders as they have resorted to recently.

Speaking earlier, the leader of the group said that they decided to team up with Obaseki based on their belief that he has what it takes to better the lot of the people of the state.
