Cape Verde Will Fall In Praia- Renard

Hervé Renard, Morocco head coach, has insisted that they will travel to Cape Verde for the three points, in the first leg of their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Saturday.

Lying neck-and-neck with the Blue Sharks at the top of Group F on six points, following successive wins over Libya and Sao Tome and Principe, the Atlas Lions will face its rivals in Praia today before hosting them in Agadir three days later.

And the French tactician, who succeeded Badou Zaki on the Moroccan bench in February, believes his experience of the African stage can help the North African side close in on a spot in the tournament’s finals.

“We didn’t have enough time to set up a new strategy,” the two-time AFCON-winning coach said at a press conference.

“But, the players showed a lot of enthusiasm, and the team will travel to Praia to claim a victory.
“I am used to African battles and have a good knowledge of the continental football.”
The game will kick off at Estadio Nacional de Cabo Verde at 7:00 p.m.
