Immediate past National President of the Trade Union Congress, Comrade Peter Esele, has unveiled three point agenda he hoped to pursue if elected governor of the state.
Comrade Esele who is contesting on the platform of the All Progressive Congress listed agricultural development, promotion of culture and investment on education as his areas of priority.
Esele spoke when he hosted some party members at his country home who visited to endorse his candidacy.
The former TUC President said he want to e a path finder leader that would show the people how to stand on their own.
Comrade Esele urged the people to follow him if they believe he could change their lives and not because he hails from Edo Central Senatorial district.
According to him, “The kind of a leader I want to be is the one who is a pathfinder. I will make life easy for our people. I want to show you how you can stand on your own. What we have is a group of people gathering money for their personal interest.
“I am not contesting because I am an Esan man. I believe we are all one. Follow me if you believe I can take you to the next level.
Deputy Publicity Secretary of the APC, Jolly Igbinosa, said that the integrity group within the APC has vowed to support an aspirant that can deliver for the people.
He said he decided to support Esele because of his performance as the president of TUC.
Spokesman for the Esan Youth Movement, Solomon Okoduwa, said they believed Esele was the right person to take over from Governor Adams Oshiomhole.
