The National Society of International Affairs (NSIA) will hold its 24th annual national conference from April 11 to April 12 at the Conference Centre, Obafemi Awolowo University(OAU), Ile-Ife.
This is contained in a statement signed by its Secretary, Prof. Chibuzo Nwoke, made available in Ibadan on Thursday.
The statement stated that the annual conference, which had “The Domestic Environment and Nigeria’s Influence in Global Affairs” as its theme, would be held in collaboration with the Department of International Relations, OAU.
It noted that the sub-themes for the conference were; Theoretical and Conceptual Issues: Nigeria and the Outside World, The Economy : Nigeria’s Leadership Role in Africa, Nature of Politics: Nigeria as an Emerging Market, The Military and Insurgency in Nigeria Polity.
It urged interested participants to send an abstract of 250 words on any of the sub themes and a list of up to six keywords suitable for index and abstracting services to firstname.lastname@example.org .
Meanwhile, the NSIA President, Prof. Jide Owoeye, who doubles as the Chairman, Governing Council of Lead City University, Ibadan, had assured participants of a hitch-free conference.
