Knee Injury Forces Wikki Striker Out For Four Weeks

Wikki Tourists forward, Uche Martins, will not be available for selection for the next four weeks due to a knee injury.

The former JUTH FC and Plateau United player told AfricanFootball.com that he is nursing a knee injury, of which he has visited a specialist at the Bimma Hospital in Jos.

“I have been having pain on my knee; in fact I was injected to play our game against Rangers on March-day 6 in Enugu,” Martins informed.

“I went to Bimma Hospital in Jos, where I was treated and was told I will be back in a month’s time. I spent almost a week in the hospital while the treatment was on.”

Wikki, third on the log with 15 points from nine matches, will be away to Lobi Stars in Makurdi. Lobi is on 14 points from nine matches and occupies seventh position on the log.
