George debunks rumour of rift in PDP, says party must rescue Lagos

Bode George, the South West national leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has debunked rumour of rift in the party in Lagos State and urged Lagosians to give Agbaje the mandate to lead a fresh breathe of air in the state.

Speaking at a press conference in Lagos on Wednesday, the party leader explained that the gathering was convened to correct the erroneous impression about the situation of events in the party.

He said, “I want to make it absolutely clear that this assembly today is about the strengthening of peace and the deepening of amity in Lagos state People’s Democratic Party.

“We are here to discountenance the deliberate misinformation running riot out there. Contrary to the misleading opinion in some sections of the media, our party is not disrupted by any infighting. We are woven in a united vision, summed up in a thoughtful unanimity of purpose,” he explained.
