MOC Grand Prix: Athletes converge on Lagos for world, Africa games time

All road lead to the Yaba College of Technology, YabaTech, this weekend as the best of Nigerian athletes converge on Lagos for the second edition of the Making of Champions, MOC, Grand Prix.

More than 300 athletes are expected to take part in the MOC Grand Prix which is the second track and field championship to hold in the country this year.

The competition is expected to provide opportunity for Nigerian athletes to secure qualifying time for the All Africa Games later this year and the World Championships.

It is also a preparatory competition to the national selection trials which holds next week at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
