Oba Elegushi hosts classic Ileya bash
The charismatic and very avant-garde monarch of Ikateland in Lagos State, HRH, Oba Saheed Elegushi, was really in a rare mood of celebration, during the last Muslim festival, Eid-el-Kabir.
The very well-connected monarch with deep roots in the social radar invited a cross-section of his friends, associates and sundry distinguished personalities to his expansive palace in Ikate, to celebrate the Ileya Festival with him, all of whom were serenaded with a lavish reception party amidst pomp and ceremony.
Trust King Gushi, as he is fondly referred to by many, he was well on ground with his adorable wife and Olori, Sekinat Aramide, who is also fondly called Queen Gushi, to make sure their guests were treated to a good time, as everything in terms of royal parties were in abundant supply, with even takeaway packs for the numerous guests, while departing, even after enjoying themselves to the hilt of maximum satisfaction that had no bounds.
The King Gushi Ileya bash sure had the coloration of royalty, as even his chiefs, subjects and traditional palace drummers/ singers also had their own section where they were feasted to no end while the party lasted.
